When you see colors, there must be an object, light and eyes. There is every visible wave length of light in sunlight, on the other hand there are mainly orange-yellow wavelengths in incandescent light. If the light is different, then the received colors can be seen differently because the surface of an object reflects the light in different ways.

But human eyes can adjust the colors automatically, if you think the T-shirt is white, then your eyes can adjust the natural T-shirt as white.
