Here are the steps of pretreating with Wagner control spray.
Steps |
Prepare a guard, a thick plate to show the spray area.
Better to have a ventilator because everything would be sticky with pretreatment. |
Put a T-shirt on the thick plate (better to put it inside to stop pretreatment sinking to the back cloth) and decide the spray area. |
Apply evenly and smoothly. |
It takes about 6-7 seconds for 14x16 area. |
Use a clean roller and roll the surface so that the mist will goes into the fibers evenly. Also dusts on the surface will be removed. |
| Cure with heat press, 180 C degree (356 F degree) in 35 seconds with high pressure so that the surface will be flat.
Make sure you don't get the surface wet from the water produced by pretreatment.
Do not use conveyor oven, we need pressure to make the surface flat. |
If you need higher quality, try Multi-Layer pretreatment. It takes time but works well.
