Note:
Photoshop® CS2 is newly released in 2006. There seems to be no major changes in color management.
So the followings are only differentials between Photoshop 7/CS and CS2.
And, because the information is common, new information for retouching with Photoshop is updated in
Photoshop 7/CS page. If you are not very familiar with
retouching, visit the page.
As for general information, refer to Photoshop Help and Instruction Manual(PDF).

Color Settings |

1. |
First of all, let your Photoshop 7 for GT-541. Start Photoshop and Select [ Edit ] > [ Color Settings...
] menu.

|

This is the most important setting for proper colors.
Make sure that the lowest button in the right row says [ Fewer Options ]. This means that the dialog
is advanced menu.
Make sure that the 4 settings of orange squares:
 Settings: North America General Purpose 2
Working Space: RGB : sRGB IEC61966-2.1
CMYK : U.S. Web Coated (SWOP)v2
Conversion Options : Intent : Relative Colormetric

 Important Note:
GT-541 works in sRGB color space(sRGB IEC61966-2.1). These settings may be changed by your PC or other
printers settings. Please be aware of them.

How to use Color Palette |
|
|
You can get the same color as Color Chart. Download our
Color Palette file "GT-541_Colors.aco" beforehand to your PC. Select [ Window ] and check [
Swatches ] to show. Click the little triangle at the rignt top of the window (in the orange circle below)
to show the submenu.

The replace window opens. Better to copy the download file GT-541_Colors.aco beforehand to:
Photoshop CS2: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Color watches\
|

|

How to Print |

1. |
Select [File] > [Print with Preview... ] to do the layout. This is the most useful way to print
WYSWYG.

2. |
Confirm the color management settings and layout here.
Check the oragne squares:
Print: Document: Profile: sRGB IEC IEC61966-2.1
or untagged
Options: Color Handing: Let Printer Determine
Colors
Page Setup: Confirm Printer Driver Settings.

Now you've done everything you have to do on PC. Click [ OK ] button to send print data to GT-541 if
the green PRINT BUTTON is blinking. When this button is on, GT-541 (FileOutput) will be ready to print
on T-shirt.
