If you are a designer, please start working with your artwork in RGB, just like Web designing. Open the new document with color space in RGB. Never use use Pantone® or other "ink" color palettes just to fill in the objects. Before filling colors, print Color Chart in Printer Driver menu.

For your further information, refer to TIPS of Color Matching and If CMYK pages and see how yellow goes dull and dotted.

If you are not a designer but receive data in Illustrator format, please open it with Photoshop and change it into RGB color space. Then you can retouch the artwork with tone curve, color balance, etc. Or use Vivid Proessing in Printer Driver Menu. Also refer to Artwork that your customers bring page. Edit artwork
If you make a new file, be sure to select the mode as RGB color.

When you open an existent file, be aware of the paper size and color mode.

If the existent file is CMYK color, Not only changing color mode but also refilling colors are necessary for beautiful print. If you can refill each object, change color mode with [ File ] > [ Document Color Mode ] and refill colors with RGB color palette. If you cannot, copy all objects and open new RGB file and paste them. If a file is CMYK color mode, many colors, especially yellow, purple and black may not be printed as you want. So refill those key colors in RGB colors (e.g. pure Yellow is not Y100% but R=255, G=255, B=0) to make the artwork brigher. For further information, go to If CMYK to see what's happening and select beautiful colors from Color Chart.

New Yellow ink GC-51Y will be available soon. We are now preparing the new Color Chart and Color Palette for new ink & profile. Watch our site and get the newest information. (July, 2006)
