How to Print Your Artwork

Go to Photoshop� 7/CS page first. The difference are mainly mentioned below.

Color Settings
Select [ Edit ] > [ Color Settings... ] menu. The menu itself looks different, but the contents are the same.

Click Advanced Mode checkbox to show all the settings menu. Make sure that the settings of the Working Space are [ RGB : sRGB IEC61966-2.1 ] and [ CMYK : U.S. Web Coated (SWOP)v2 ]. And also confirm that the setting of Conversion Options is [ Intent : Relative Colormetric ].

Please note that GT-541 color management system applies only for sRGB (sRGB IEC61966-2.1). These settings may be changed by your PC settings. So please be aware of these settings.

How to Print
Select [File] > [Print Options... ] to do the layout.

First click Show More Options checkbox below the layout window and choose [ Color Management ] of the pulldown menu. Make sure that radio button of Source Space is Document: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 or untagged RGB . Select Print Space as Profile: [ Printer Color Management ]. This setting enabes GT-541 printer driver to do color matching.

After color settings and before positioning the layout, Click [ Page Setup ] button on the window to do the printer driver settings.

If you've already finished settings of the printer driver, just click [ Print ] button.

This is the Page Setup menu. Click [ Properties... ] button to go into the printer driver settings menu.

See Tour to Printer Driver for the details.   Click [ OK ] to save/close the window.

Confirm the layout of artwork after you go back to the Print menu . You can reset size numbers directly. If you want to move the artwork freely, check off the [center image] checkbox and move and resize it directly with dragging Bounding Box. After the layout is done, click [ Print ] button to send data to GT-541.
Make sure that Profile of Print Space is [ Printer Color Management ] to print in color-matched colors.
