Garment Printer Owners

Download “ GTXpro Software Package 2.0_Win.and extract it to your desktop. This driver is compatible with Windows® 8.1 (64bit), Windows® 10 (64bit), and or Windows® 11 (64bit) *LAN connection only. This driver requires CPU of 2.0 GHz or better and a minimum of 4 GB of RAM. A monitor display of XGA (1024 x 768) or higher is required.

Update the printer driver 1st before updating the firmware. This firmware CAN ONLY BE LOADED on a GTXpro (GTX-423) and NOT a GTX (GTX-422) model printer.

Unplug the USB cable from the printer to the PC and check to make sure there are no documents stuck in the printer queue. After unzipping the file open the 541_782_GT3_GTX_GTXpro_Uninstall_Tool folder and double click on the BrRemPnP.exe (the only icon in color) executable file to run the tool. This tool is for Windows® operating system computers only.

When you initially install the driver make sure the GTXpro printer is not plugged into the PC. Right click and unzip the GTXpro Software Package_Win.zip folder. Open the unzipped folder and then path to the “GTXpro Driver_ver_2.0_win” folder and double click the setup.exe file. The system will select the OS automatically. Follow the prompts on screen.

• If you are running both a GTXpro (GTX-423) printer and a GTX (GTX-422) printer driverfrom the same PC, you will need to upgrade the (GTX-422) to the latest version.

Download the “GTXpro Software Package 2.0_MAC.zip” file and Safari should automatically extract it, leaving you with a Brother GTX “pkg” installer file in your default download location, this will normally be the Downloads folder in Finder. If the “zip” file doesn’t automatically extract after downloading, locate it and then double-click on it and it will extract the “pkg” installer file. This driver works with macOS Big Sur 11 (64bit) and Monterey 12 (64bit). The driver supports both Intel and M1 chipset. This driver requires a CPU of 2 GHz or better and a minimum of 4 GB of RAM. A monitor display of XGA (1024 X 768) or higher is required.

Update the printer driver before updating the printer firmware. This firmware CAN ONLY BE LOADED on a GTXpro (GTX-423) and NOT a GTX (GTX-422) model printer.

When you initially install the driver make sure the GTXpro printer is not plugged into the Mac. Next open the "GTXpro Software Package 2.0_MAC" folder and double click the GTXpro Driver_ver_2.0_mac folder. Open the pkg file called “ BrotherGTXpro-2.0.pkg” by double clicking it. The system will select the OS automatically. Follow the prompts on screen.

• If you are running both a GTXpro printer and a GTX-4 printer driver from the same Mac, you will need to upgrade the GTX-4 driver and firmware to the latest version.
• GTX Graphics Lab is now a separate installation.

• Download the “GTXproFIRM_02000000” file and unzip
• Execute "GTXpro Firmware Update" in [Brother GTXpro Tools] and select the unzipped Firmware Data (extension ".bwf")
• Follow the Wizard and update the GTXpro(GTX-423) Firmware. Do not disconnect the USB or LAN cable in execution.
