The menu / submenu depend on the model: GT-341 has no menu for white ink.




The following image is the menu on the Control Panel.
No. Description
1 Job Name
Shows the indentified name of the print data, which is automatically set by Printer Driver.
2 Job Comment
Shows the 30 characters of the Job Comment set by the operator with Printer Driver.
3 Amount of Ink Required
Shows how much ink (cc), the sum of CMYK and White, is required for making one print of the received data. Also it shows Warning message(s) here as well.
4 Platen Size
Shows Platen Size set by Printer Driver: 14x16 (Standard),
10x12 (Youth) and 7x8 (Baby)
5 Number of Platen Move
Shows the number of the Platen Move (loading/unloading) in printing one print data. GT-3 has Multiple Pass Printing and GT-381 does not have to move the platen more than one time (only when you select Highlight=9, 10 or White/Color Pause). Check here for GT-361.
6 Number of Print
Shows the number of prints completed of the print data, In other words, a "counter".
7 Printer Status
Shows the printer status. Blank shows nothing happens.
8 Amount of Ink Remained
Shows amount of ink remained in each cartridge, from the left, W1, W2, W3, W4, Black (K), Magenta (M), Cyan (C) and Yellow (Y). W3, W4 (GT-361) and all four Whites (GT-341) are blank. Prepare the new cartridge(s) when you see those icons are flashing, which shows the ink is running out ("ink low" message).
9 Uni-Directional Print Icon
Shows when the printer or the print data is set to uni-directional printing by the Printer Driver.
10 Number of White Print Head Icon
Shows how many White Print Heads are used in printing one print data. This is only for GT-381, you can print with two White Print Heads (GT-361 mode), only W1 and W2 are used.
11 Resolution Icon
Shows the resolution of the print data, either 1200=1200x1200dpi or 600=600x600dpi.
